Performed by Renegade Theatre

This performance centres around the abduction of more than two hundred girls from their school dormitory in Chibok, Nigeria, on the night of the 14th of April 2014.

There had been previous kidnappings by the insurgent group, Boko Haram, but none on such a scale and with that level of impunity.

It tracks the events leading to that level of lawlessness, the aftermath of the incident and the impact on the region and the world as a whole. Through the use of testimonial and documentary theatre, it follows the lives of the kidnapped students as well as other inhabitants of the region, attempts to lay bare situations that have traumatized a whole nation and therein foster healing.
